Last January, Microsoft stopped supporting Windows 7, this means that users on this platform will no longer receive Microsoft security updates and fixes, which leaves your device vulnerable to malware and viruses.
Is your pharmacy still using Windows 7?
If your pharmacy is still using Windows 7, we recommend that you upgrade to Windows 10 as soon as possible. Upgrading is now more important than ever to help minimise the risk of a data breach. This is pivotal for independent pharmacies who hold extensive patient data.
Windows 10 will ensure your system runs smoothly and securely, so you can continue to deliver excellent customer service. As well as this, your new operating system will give you the base for all future developments and system enhancements to ProScript Connect.
Remember – check all computer systems in your pharmacy to see if they need upgrading.

Please note - upgrading through Microsoft directly can result in PMR data loss and multiple chargeable visits. All operating system upgrades must be purchased through EMIS to ensure your PMR system is not affected.
