SSP for Fluoxetine 10mg tablets extended
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has provided an update on the Serious Shortage Protocol (SSP) for Fluoxetine 10mg tablets (SSP005).
SSP005 for Fluoxetine 10mg tablets was previously expected to expire on 13th August 2021 but the end date has been further extended to 12th November 2021.
This expiry date may be brought forward or extended, and the content may be amended throughout this period. Pharmacists should ensure they are using the current version of an SSP before supplying an alternative product.
