Funding Available: Secure £30k for a Pre-Reg Pharmacy Technician with Buttercups and Numark

Rare opportunity to access funding from NHS England

NHS England is offering a financial training contribution as part of their Community Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship Programme. They are accepting applications to apply for £30,106 per pre-registration trainee pharmacy technician (PTPT), which is split into two payments of £15,053 per year for two years.

The funding is being offered to support sites in developing an employer-led, work-based training programme which meets the GPhC initial education and training (IET) standards for pharmacy technicians and the NHS England Education Quality Framework.

There are 525 places available in total (75 places per NHS England region) with a maximum of 2 places available for each for each community pharmacy organisation, per NHS England region is an eligible programme for pharmacies to receive this funding.
