Mandatory National Health Campaigns Reminder

Each year community pharmacies are contractually required to participate in up to six mandatory health campaigns. For 2025/26 NHS England and the DHSC have agreed that contractors will have to take part in two national health campaigns and two local campaigns (these will be agreed at local level).

The national campaigns use relevant materials to promote the Pharmacy First service to the public, we would like to remind you that the second campaign period will run from:

• Monday 2nd February 2026 to Sunday 22nd February 2026

Existing Pharmacy First promotional materials or content that are already being used in the pharmacy, on websites or on social media channels will meet the requirements for the campaigns. But for any pharmacies that do not have Pharmacy First marketing materials already in use, a range of resources to promote the service are available to download from our website:
