Blood Borne Virus Screening Service

NHS Wales agreed this new additional clinical service on the 1st October 2023, following the commitment made by the Welsh Government to eliminate hepatitis B & C as a public health threat by 2030.
Clinical Community Pharmacy Service (CCPS)

This nationally commissioned service comprises of three components aimed to provide easily accessible care for patients, enabling management and treatment:
- Contraception service – bridging and quick start, and emergency contraception
- Common ailments service
- Emergency medication supply
Common Ailments Service

This service allows patients living in Wales to have access to advice and treatment for a range of common ailments without having to make a GP appointment.
Discharge Medicines Review

When patients are admitted to hospital or another care setting, they may have their medicines changed, which on discharge if not communicated effectively to the patient’s GP, can result in problems with subsequent prescriptions.
Flu Vaccination Service

We have information and resources to enable you to set up and deliver a successful Flu Vaccination Service.
Lateral Flow Test Distribution Service

The Welsh Lateral Flow Test Distribution Service through community pharmacies launched January 2024.
