Two new SSPs issued for Creon® capsules
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has issued two Serious Shortage Protocols (SSPs) for Creon® 10,000 and 25,000 Gastro Resistant Capsules in response to a significant ongoing supply disruption.
- SSP060 for Creon® 10,000 gastro resistant capsules
- SSP061 for Creon® 25,000 gastro resistant capsules
They will be in operation from Friday 24th May 2024 until Friday 22nd November 2024.
They allow a reduced amount of ONE month’s supply to be supplied against prescriptions for Creon Capsules (both branded and generically written) for more than one month’s treatment.
